Deluge Poem by Gianni Pansensoy

Deluge

Where your hills are sprinkled chopped trees,
the indelible deluge left by the storm's brutal sprees, .

Cars and houses swept violently, eaten by ocean's surge,
Cadavers decaying on the streets, bruised eyes, a painful purge.

the land is bludgeoned, bled vinaigretted clod,
those living and the dead, blown by the gust of blood.

But it's unthinkable to achieve natural peace without natural violence,
beautiful rainbow always dominate after a bloody evolutionary turbulence,

Rise tacloban! Soar higher than before, never lose hope,
resuscitate, stand stronger, never again your dreams will elope.
