Demon Head Teacher Poem by Paul WilsonSuffield

Demon Head Teacher

Alice and Hannah enter the school
Wanting to abide by all the rules.
Straight in their class and sat on a chair
Wondering why there’s nobody there.
After ten minutes they go to the hall
To look for the Teachers pupils and all.
Like a scene from the movies they can hear not a sound
Feeling scared because no ones around.
Remembering a story told long ago
Of the demon head teacher and her deeds of woe.
Hiding the children and making them say
Their innocent souls she can take away.
Being clean of mind and strong of heart
You from your parents she can never part.
On hearing a thump and then a door slam
The children did run as fast as they can.
Down the passage out the door
Tripped on a step and fell on the floor.
Ready to die and meet their maker
The hand on their shoulder was just the caretaker.
Helping them up in a very kind way
Said why are you here on a school holiday.
