You can wake up each morning and paint a smile on your face,
You can look up at the sky and stare into space,
You can lay alone at night and hide your tears,
You and pretend to the world that you have no fears,
You can push everyone away keep yourself to yourself,
You can tell yourself drinking is good for your health,
You can tell me you don't need me and break your own heart,
You can hold it together as you watch me part,
The one thing you cannot do is deny me the love i have for you.
