Depressed Poem by Mariam Basha

Depressed

Rating: 5.0

She woke up in a daze
She couldn't remember anything
She only remembered this one phase

Everyday she would take these chances
Everyday she would see the doctor
Everyday the Doctor would say ' Your death rate enhances'

Her life was in serious danger
Her appearance started to change
Her face in the mirror, was the face of a stranger

One day she had went out and shopped
One day she came home
One day her heart almost stopped

In the hospital she lied
In her room doctors would walk in and out
In the hospital she cried

To much damage had been done to her heart
To much time had passed
To much, because her heart had been torn apart

Only seven days to live she had
Only so little done in her life
Only ever wanted to be glad

They put her in a deep sleep
They told her she'd forget everything
They said even he memories she couldn't keep

Now lying awake in her bed
Now she remembered one thing they said
Now she remembered by tonight she'd be dead

Finally, night came by and said hi
Finally, she closed her eyes
Finally, she said good - bye
