Depression Poem by Dianna Hoskins

Depression

Rating: 5.0

Depression is when you're drowning
When anxiety is crowding
Inside your head
Not under the bed
Is where your monsters lie
You cant get them to die
You cant escape
From your fate
You're lost and just want to die
Just go, say your goodbyes
Its not because you want your life to end
All you wish for is for the pain to mend
For it to vanish
And what other way is there to banish
This pain, other then saying goodbye

Saying goodbye is not going to ease the pain, it will just shift the pain from you to someone else. Never go quietly into the goodnight.
