What manner of creatures are these?
Who walked for miles and miles without rest?
Valued more than humans in the land of Bedouins,
Are beasts of burden of the Arabian Desertplains.

Under the scorching heat of the desert sun,
In the vast wasteland of the Middle East,
Big, brave and mighty are they- heroes of old,
Great are their stature, strides bold; carried a load, a hundred-fold.

Wielding no spear or sword to threat,
Meek as they are, mother-nature gave,
Strength, stamina, brute force to beat,
The unforgiving weather, sand-storms and the desert's heat.

Across the Arabian deserts these lowly creatures trek,
No GPS or stars to guide, their strides though slow, were sure not bleak,
In the caravan of life where Trader's met,
To barter goods, supplies- merchandise sold and sent.

But that was long ago and far away, we leave them all now for posterity,
These lowly creatures paved the way, for some businesses we know today,
How commerce and trade were laden on back then, not on ships or cars or trucks,
But on Camels' back; their hooves solemnly engraved on the desert's arid track.
