Desperation Children I See Weep Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Desperation Children I See Weep

Rating: 0.5

Of desperation
And in desperation
I have breathed such

Benighted
I walk in the lonely
Nights

My hair on end
My eyes are wild

I see children and
I weep

And
Think of a cliff
So steep
That desperation
However much attempt I
Throws me down and
Down
Ah! desperation!
