Devil's Lure
Hopeful eyes, twinkling
Upon a lifelike dream
But crumbles to the touch
Sadly not what it seemed
Whispers of the unfathomable
Heart within blue skies
Then my senses shown the truth
Beauty was nothing but lies
A lofty heaven I dazed through
Domain of peace and bliss
Was in fact a burning hell
Lured by the devil’s tricks
