Dilemma

Love, I have wondered quite a lot
If without you, what have I got?

When in the garden I would dance
As Adam did in Eden once

When foremost of thoughts in his mind
Was for a female of his kind

While so thinking keeps him awake
When God needs him asleep to make.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM

This poem was written after reading Genesis about Adam put by God to sleep in order for Eve to be made from his rib. About Adam walking in the garden in solitude, is only my deduction.
