Ding Dong Poem by Sally Plumb Plumb

Ding Dong

Rating: 5.0

Her spirits fell
as deep as a well
till someone
lowered a bucket.

Her spirits rose
as her body froze,
arms reaching
for tomorrow.

Then the bucket rope broke,
destroyed her hope
and she drowned
in her own sorrow.
