Dinosaur Poem by Zia Eybers

Dinosaur

Prehistoric you are Dinosaur
Some mythical and found only in ancient lore
Some of you walked on all four
Some had feathers and took to the air
In bewilderment we would stare

Do we call your talons paws
Cause it would seem more appropriate to call them claws
Terrifying Teeth and powerful jaws
Sink those into a perfect body, you’ll undeniably leave flaws

Some believe you are something from science fiction
Some religions even have you on a strong restriction
Undoubtfully you existed
None believers should be admitted

I don’t think you are a fiction of imagination
Some I believe are even your incarnation
Excavators dig up your huge bones
Watch out!
Science is creating your clones….

Prehistoric no more
The future you are Dinosaur
