Directors Are Cap Off Scot-Free Poem by Terence George Craddock

Directors Are Cap Off Scot-Free

Rating: 5.0

golden apple prize
has been swift stolen
from mythic beginnings
it was too good to be...

true safe one-way bet incorporated
into directors all safe bets limited
liability companies cast silver spoon
people do not have to university go

to get a license to steal law degree
plebs can also get sweat shop degrees
oh do you not see dear boys justified

elitist sleight of hand
life is more comfortable
rewarding as an exploiter...

not as exploited victim
now for the ultimate
meany greedy insult

directors proud proclaim
public were too naive stupid
let themselves get exploited

directors are cap off scot-free
laws centuries privilege sanctuaries
toasting you with their millions

billions with burned brandy
whiskey champagne whatever
fits their victory fancy
