Dis Solution Poem by shimon weinroth

Dis Solution

Each day they grow apart
Seldom making an effort
To start anew
Speak and review
Or seek redress

Even stress
Has diappeared,
For the once revered
Bonds weakened
Emotions blurred
No re-awakenng stirred

Only apathy remains
With nothing more in store
Indifference and ennui

Contact and adoration
A distant past

a sad poem, but also so very true of so many. very glad to have clicked on your poem, in the sea of tortured verse yours was a welcome light on the horizon.
