Disappointment Transformed Poem by Sunita Chandla

Disappointment Transformed

Rating: 4.7

Disappointment transformed ‘

It's just yet another ordinary day
So what if it had to be my special day
To pacify myself I had to say
A better one will come my way

Expectations often run too wild
Some habits too make you mild
Things can't always go your way
A better one, can be another day

Yearning for more doesn't yieldtoo much
Stars in store may have lost silver touch
Must learn to be happy regardless I say
A better day will soon come your way

Time challenges to turn you out strong
Never despair when things go wrong
But don't forget its good lesson anyway
Sweet success may not lie too faraway

Now is the moment for you to say
My happiness is not dependent anyway
I will fill my jar creating some more today
To draw out from it on a dreary, rainy day!

Here on you'll muster a mightier strength
To deal will deadliest, trying moments
Strangely you'll listen to yourself say!
I am in control for shaping my own day!
My way!

Everyday doesn’t turn out the way we want but we have a choice of turning into a happy or sad day by the virtue of our optimism😊
