Disaster Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Disaster

Rating: 0.5

It should be obvious these days,
Who has a relationship with truth.
And who has no clue,
What truth is to live it.
Or can identify it to produce.

This is a pathological disorder.
A dysfunction of the mind.

Yet...
To discover this obvious to find,
Spewed from the mouth...
Of one who represents,
A rapidly fading reality to undermine.
Has to have those disturbed and concerned,
About their state of affairs.
Being trashed without care.
By one who sits,
Twisted with ego and narcissistic values.
Mentally disconnected.
And afflicted with self anointed grandeur.

Although,
Very much aware.
Of the destruction they cause.
To enjoy the attention given.
As if,
On a mission to create and permit disaster.
Using racism, division and deception.
Done to do to allow.
By the people who refuse to believe,
Fools they have been made to be.
