Dissolute Dudes Poem by John Leroy Maxwell

Dissolute Dudes

I'm a Randy, a Dandy, A Fop and a Rake
And some people call me an absolute fake
But I'm not alone, I got friends that are too
And together we'll beguile and walk all over you
We usually hang together, while we look for trouble
And when we finish we leave nothing but rubble
We gather around now, and the time passes fast
As we scam and con like we did in the past
Then down the street comes a familiar sight,
and we beat it on the run, into the night
The one we saw was Officer O'Malley, and his gun
was drawn, so we dare not dally
Tomorrow's another day, and we'll be in cahoots
for sure
This what we think, as together we all sally, and
hie, hie hie, down Libertine Alley
Later Gator
