District Champions Poem by E.A. England

District Champions

Rating: 2.8

My fault, my fault, it's all my fault
Was all that I could feel
I should have known deep down inside
That fairy tales aren't real

The game is done, the clock's run out
There's nothing left to say
I can; t take back what I just did
I threw our chance away

I finally break and start to cry
My tears burn sad and wet
A friend offers me consoling words
'It isn't over yet.'

It just so happened she was right
I've never been so relieved
And it all took place before my eyes
Because my team believed
