This feeling lurking within,
Crawling under my skin.
Sending shivers down my spine,
As it stabbing away at my heart.

It knows when I’m sleeping,
It knows when I’m awake,
Knows every silent tear I cry,
And every breath I don’t take
Feeding off my pain,
Slowly ripping me apart.

It tears away at my heart,
Each bite hurting more then the last.
Every moment it’s inside me,
It breaks me down.
It kills all the spirit,
It kills all the happiness that was once in me.

With it inside,
I feel the cuts that it has made.
I can feel it working its way into my mind,
Trying to drive me insane.
Whispering its sickening words,
Burning them into my mind and soul.
