Without You Poem by Nikita Poffley

Without You

Rating: 5.0

The skies seem grey, the wind seems cold,
The seasons seem short, and minutes seem long,
Things that made me happy only make me sad;
Without you, life doesn’t have a point,
Without you, things don’t seem right;

Let’s just stop and look around,
We can see the shattered pieces on the ground;
I wish I could stop time,
Because things without you,
Just aren’t the same.

People never smile, people just stand still,
People only wear black and never colour,
Moments that made me laugh only make me cry;
Without you, life doesn’t have a point,
Without you, things don’t seem right;

It’s so hard to admit that you’re gone,
It’s so hard to admit that you’re never coming back,
It’s so hard to admit that things will never be the same;
Without you, life doesn’t have a point,
Without you, things don’t seem right;

Let’s just stop and look around,
We can see the shattered pieces on the ground;
I wish I could stop time,
Because things without you,
Just aren’t the same.
And they never will be.
