Divine Throne Poem by Zachary Zuccaro

Divine Throne

Ten thousand angels
kneel before the thrones
seven candles flicker
in seven golden lampstands.
Three Beings in One
illuminate all the Heavens.

Each of the thousands of angels
shines with a brilliance greater than the Sun's
yet their brilliance is as night
compared to the Trinity's.

A pillar of flames
surrounds the throne
and stretches out of sight;
not even the angels
can withstand the sight of the Lord.

Glory and praise to You,
King of all creation!
