Diviniiy Cover Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Diviniiy Cover

Laws are defied
When we stand lied
In the name of holy book
When legally booked

Lawyers twist
And insist
In arguments
And present their side

Laws have loop holes
That bales out
Criminals and liars
We have so many source suppliers

Law has proved ineffective
You kill a person and still survive
You run over sleeping beggars
Still people worship actors and offenders

Law has lost its relevance
Even in court premises they take chance
Gun down the witness
And are never caught despite frantic chase

So leave it to god
Who shall burden our load?
Provide us divinity cover
We shall be happy then forever
