Do Flawless Service To Humanity And Live!
Once reached the grave yard,
the remaining muscles and nerves
quickly settle with the sand!
To say one’s good name,
‘tombstone’ only shall
remain there still!
If you want to inscribe good words on it,
Is it not necessary that we have to do
‘flawless service to humanity’ and live?

தொண்டு செய்
இடுகாட்டில் சேர்ந்த பின்னர்
இருக்கின்ற தசைந ரம்பும்
சடுதியில் மண்ணாய்ப் போகும்
தன்பெயர் கூறு தற்கு
‘நடுகல்’தான் நிற்கும் அங்கே
நலச்சொற்கள் ஏற வேண்டின்
வடுவிலாத் ‘தொண்டு’ செய்து
வாழ்ந்திட வேண்டா மாநாம்? – கவிவேந்தர் கா.வேழவேந்தன்
