Do Not Dare Me! Poem by Francis Kokutse

Do Not Dare Me!

On their return,
The warriors spoke a
Different language
At the shrine.
They said Hmmmmm!
Then they repeated with
Mese Hmmmmm!
So, this dawn,
I repeat hmmmmm!
It is not only a heavy heart that says hmmmmm!
Sometime, it flows
from a condescending heart.
So, l say hmmmm!
I have not come out
Of Attorkor for nothing
So, do not dare
The grandson of a lion
That does not roar
But devours without warning.
Mese hmmm for those
Who will understand.
