Do you lose sleep
knowing im with someone else?
do you bleed
when im not there with you?
i know you're hurting
dont try to lie
i can see the tear stains
i know you cry
Does it hurt
when you pass me in the streets
remembering when you used to walk with me?
does your heart ache
when im kissing him instead of you?
I can see the sharp glare you give
and the deep breaths you breath
I can see im the only reason you still live
the only reason you wont leave
Do you sting
when you're all alone and im not?
does it tear you apart inside
when you know im at his place tonight?
When you're alone in your bed
can you see us together in his?
i bet you're mad at me
but guess what
i dont care, never have you see
and i'll let you in on a secret,
i dont care about this boy either
i've no patience for anyone
its why i'll never have 'the one'
so dry your tears and get out
run before i decide to catch you again
go and live with the fact that we're just friends
because it wont be just tears you'll be crying
if you try to make us more again
so go away, and stop trying
