Do you find life's a battle a hard uphill fight
And nothing you do for you seems to go right
But many more like you in the big World out there
For battlers as we know have never been rare.

Do you find with little money few you do wish to know
But when you were much wealthier a few years ago
With each passing day your friends did multiply
Why your once friends ignore you now you must know why.

Do you wonder about your neighbour the fellow next door
He was a good mate of your's but that was before
The company directors to manager him did promote
He has changed since he became one worthy of note.

Your financial affairs in a terrible mess
Which is causing you hardship and far too much stress
And one might say you've found out in the hard way
That money is quite important despite what some may say.
