My feet never touch the ground,
But when you smile,
I truly feel like I’m flying,
When I know that he’ll never see me as I am,
It makes me cry,
But can you accept the tears,
When they got no salt,
Why do I?
Not trust you and all you can be,
My man, he don’t get me,
But he still loves me,
When the road,
Seems to end at the beginning,
Do we go in circles?
As long as the leaves in the trees,
The fall upon my head,
And when we look at each other,
We’ll laugh and sing,
And live again,
To the world,
We’d never hate it,
Maybe life,
But does it care?
But do the ghosts,
Of my past and future,
Sing to me,
Like I laugh at them,
Does the night have eyes?
I thought it was too confidential to know about,
To know about my soul,
And all my secrets,
But does he know,
I can’t remember if I told him,
But would he care?
I don’t think so,
So I’ll keep them to myself.
