Don't Be A Fool Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Don't Be A Fool

Don't be a fool cause it isn't love
Don't have this become your world
There's going be good, there's going be bad
If you ain't happy, it will leave you sad
this isn't loving, so please understand
If it were any true why meet the palm of his hand?

He'll have your heart in pain
Have you crying and feeling ashamed.
Oh yeah, Don't be a fool
His smile can hook you

It's not the way that you want to live
what you'll be taking is what he will give
He'll have you question what you feel inside
He'll have you broken and unsatisfied

His ways of action won't reflect his words
Ain't nothing honest like what you heard
He can't be trusted and it'll come to
Him buying gifts and it will trap you
