Don'T Break Up Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Don'T Break Up

Rating: 4.2

We were drawn initially by outer show
I too was immature and did not grow
We threw all our lots to beautiful dreamland
Moved hand in hand freely in fairy’s land

Don’t breakup as I had been yours
Number of beautiful dreams was ours
We decided to make it heaven
We cared for little things even

It was never you who let me down
You always praised my eyes brown
You just preferred me and not by noun
You had promised me let go even crown

I found earth so wonderful
All ponds and rivers had water full
Nature too appeared fine and not dull
App appeared wonderfully nice and cool

Clear sky with glittering bright stars
Silver shining rays seemed with no distance far
Suddenly it became known it was going to dry
It was going different way I don’t know why?

I had heard many times happy relation end very soon
There was to be autumn for end of boom
Nothing was to be worked out in closed room
Happiness was to end with decadence of gloom

Nothing was moving on expected lines
Everything in doldrums with absolutely no fines
What was I to do with sudden “U-turn?
Watch its early demise and tearfully mourn

I had offered everything that was to be done
All with sincerity and sparing efforts none
Still it was proving hard nuts to crack
Life train was not moving and skidding off the track

Life can move on easily with two fine wheels
Clear understanding with powerful will
What efforts do I make to make it more worthwhile?
Simple devotion and to walk for an extra mile

I am almost pushed to the deep corner
I have explored all possibilities to garner
I am not sure of succeeding in new Endeavour
I only want his support and not simple favor

I think it is crucial that both should hold together
No worldly things influence us or bother
We try to follow and understand each other
Though it is very simple to inch further

The total mess should end up in healthy relation
Break up must be ruled out as out of question
How to move further should be the main criteria?
Not to woo each other or making fresh plea

I will hold it fast unto end of life
You need not prove to be an ideal wife
What may make it worth while and trust worthy?
There should be real trust and not simple apathy
