Don't Go

don't go away leaving me in this state
don't go away like this meant nothing
don't go away because you promise to come back
don't go away for i'd never want to see again
don't go away for this reason that i want you
don't go away just because you expect me to understand
don't go away night, i need you
don't go away night, i can't face the sun
don't go away night, i can't start all over
don't go away night, i feel the fear with you
don't go away night, i feel real with you
don't go away night, i deal with myself with you
don't go away night, i am at peace when i'm with you
don't go away night, i am dead and wandering sans toi
don't go away night, just don't....

poet Ambrose Bierce

Weather
by Ambrose Bierce

Once I dipt into the future far as human eye could see,
And I saw the Chief Forecaster, dead as any one can be--
Dead and damned and shut in Hades as a liar from his birth,
