Don'T Have To Believe - Poem by Bull Hawking

you don't have to believe
like I do....that every
moment is its own eternity
you can't lengthen, shorten or
erase any one of them you
have ever lived
I remember how you
felt toward me
it lives
that moment forever

alright this one is a gold nugget.
it's perfect in it's simplicity and honesty
it's not trying too hard to impress her
and even without the commas, i still paused in the right spots.
    so,
    there.

the poet's notes made me laugh. why didn't i think of doing that at one time?
i thought about writing a poem once with the title: this isn't about you
but i never did. there's still time.... (Report) Reply
