Don'T Let Me Hide[song] Poem by Gabriella Franco

Don'T Let Me Hide[song]

She hides behind these eyes
She hides behind the soul sick
She helps them with their problems
She hides behind the music

Let's go back in time
So I can lose my mind
On more time, one more time
Don't let me hide

She laughs a lot... laughs a lot
She loves to smile... loves to smile
But your smile slices her wrists
All the, all the while

Oh no, there goes her composure
Oh no, there goes uncommon sense
Oh no, there goes her krutch
There goes her best friend

There goes the mask
Thats always hid her face
There goes the laughter
There goes her hiding place

Let's go back in time
So I can lose my mind
On more time, one more time
Don't let me hide

How do you gauge the lonliness
That chokes her from the inside
The screaming in her music
Describes her desparate eyes

And as the music plays
She fades father away
Self destructive smiles
Self destructive smiles

There goes the mask
Thats always hid her face
There goes the laughter
There goes her hiding place

Let's go back in time
So I can lose my mind
On more time, one more time
Don't let me hide

Hard rock and punk rock clothes
She's got a case full of makeup to paint her face
that she puts on, the only brand she owns is 'happy'
Not material makeup but its her hiding place

She jokes about everything
She goes home and cries
She's crying cuz no one sees
That she doesnt want to hide

She can't be real, cant be real
It hurts her to tell how she feels
She gives the hard impression
That her heart is made of steel

There goes the mask
Thats always hid her face
There goes the laughter
There goes her hiding place

He starts to crack the shell
He washes off the smile
He's trying to break the diamond
He washes off the smile

Inside the diamond is an ugly rock
She can't let him see
She cant let him see
I can't let you see

There goes the mask
Thats always hid her face
There goes the laughter
There goes her hiding place

Let's go back in time
So I can lose my mind
On more time, one more time
Don't let me hide
