Don't Let My Sadness Deceive You
DON'T LET MY SADNESS DECEIVE YOU
Don't let my sadness deceive you-
I am a happy man
I live where I am in my own loneliness,
And sing songs from here.
But I too in another mode
Love the people I love
As I love myself - even more.
I am a happy man,
And I am a sad man-
I have a happy song
And a sad song -
I sing them both
Sometimes at the same time-
But I am both
And I have both-
Happy and sad
Sad and happy
I sing my song.
