Don't Look At Me Poem by Arun Maji

Don't Look At Me

Rating: 5.0

Don't look at me.

You suffocate me
When you look at me.

Don't you know
Your eyes entangle me so hard
I can't even breathe?

Tell me
What have you got in your eyes?
Fire?
No, I have seen them all.
They kill
But they are not as powerful as your eyes.

Gravity?
No, I have felt it many times.
It swallows stars
But it's not as mysterious as your eyes.

It must be my death.
The deaththat is too sweet to ignore.
Too powerful to evade.
