Don'T Quit Poem by Clinton Ekeh

often a time in life
only time seems to be on the run
while every other aspect lags along
we find ourselves asking the inevitable
'why the heck it has to be me'
when you just want to smile
but could only let out a frown
when you really want to laugh at a joke
only to shed tears, for your situation aint funny
you look at the sky
thick clouds all but you see
yes such times could be dreadful
but with God all things are possible
nomatter how red your situation might seem
God can still make a rainbow out of it
if only you can believe
and keep trusting, the king of kings
a testimony will be yours
for all things are working for your good
don't quit too soon
cos the battle is already won
indeed you are more than a conqueror
for God is your shield and your armour
arise and shine for your time is come
and your sorrows shall be nomore
weeping may endure for the night
but then joy comes in the morn'
remember beneath every thick cloud
is a silver lining underneath
don't quit, you had already won
all you need be is to be focused
and keep trusting on the Lord
he wil see you through in Jesus name.. Amen!
