Don'T Remember Poem by Lauren Harper

Don'T Remember

I tell you to forget,
Yet all I wish is that you'd remember.
But I can not say what I want,
For what is needed to be said contradicts my head.
For as I beg you leave,
Inside I'm screaming for you to stay.
In the end everything'll be okay.
You'll slip though my fingers.
You'll be safe,
And I'd be out of your way.
