Don't Scold Me Hard, Poem by Liza Sud

Don't Scold Me Hard,

Don't scold me hard,
my inspiration,
that you called it for long
and it has come at last.

in subtle spheres of inspiration
you settled down,
and behind every letter's shading
I see you now.

May be it is my new obsession
how evil people call,
But let my strong determination
bring a fruit hundredfold.

Violet shadows - on the table
flowers stand.
I don't know, Julia, where? -
but I poems for you write.

***

Fruit, flowers and poems - three things of sweetness and light - are brought into a creative circle and impart their sweetness and light equally on you and Julia. And then that circle widens, shimmers and imparts such blessings to the readers. How far outward can this circle move? That is like asking how far out from this lovely place on a spring day we are standing is this loveliness felt by others? WE had best just assume such sweetness and light knows no bounds. It embraces everyone with a soul to be touched spiritually. (How far from the initial image of scolding this poem has taken me!)
