Don’t Turn A Blind Eye To A Free Gift Poem by Joshua Mccoy

Don’t Turn A Blind Eye To A Free Gift

This place gleams with joy like a greenhouse bathed in rich sunlight rays of hope and love that rain down from the rafters and purify stricken hearts painted black and baptize them like new again. Give praise and glory to the only one who can bring everlasting peace and security to your life unknown by any other on the face of the earth. One you can draw strength from anytime needed, a renewable resource that can never deplenish. One who controls ownership over any delight ever imaginable and could place it in your hands in exchange for a heart seeking redemption and love.
This is a place of healing
This is a hospital for the soul
To heal and recover from mortal wounds
Inflicted by a corroding world
Confused?
And scared?
Does it seem like no one cares?
Come to this place
And stuff your face
With a love none other could ever provide.
You’ve tried the world
Now try a slice of heaven.
