Drained At Sea Poem by Riley Maxwell Hefron

Drained At Sea

Drained and empty, drowning within,
lost and lonely, swallowing sin,
The sea it opens, vast and wide;
Trapping all who come inside,
Where the sea does not,
It cannot see, flat and empty,
It shalt not fee,
For a man at sea, floating down free,
A man of plea, he struggles to flee,
The sea it swallows, a man so tight,
Swallows his soul, and takes his life,
Left with nothing, air and heart,
Left with nothing, a life apart;
A life apart, a distant world,
A life of wondering,
Should i choose this girl?
