I sit in the window,
Looking out to see the world,
With a child’s curiosity,
Shadows sneak and creep in the distance,
Bringing the sound of soft footsteps behind me,
I feel two arms wrap around my waist,
I smile and see your face,
The eye in the storm,
My heart,
My life,
All of a sudden my eyes snap open and reality sinks in,
Your not there it’s nothing but a far away dream.
I know better than anyone dreams never come,
True it’s nothing but a lie,
Spoken to little children,
To give them faith in something that doesn’t exist.
Dear Akira.I smile and see your face, The eye in the storm, My heart, My Life. Where did this come from? It's really good stuff here. Love Duncan 10 from me

Wonderful wording, simply a grand poem. How we dream about things we want.
