Dream Boy

My dream boy
Where did you go
Oh where did you go
It's been so long
Since we last talked
And yet I haven't forgotten
All the times we shared
All the good and wonderful memories
Laughing, chatting away at anything
Simply enjoying one another's company
Are still there in my mind
Oh I miss you so
My dream boy
Where did you go
Oh where did you go
I know it's been a while
But I have to know
Are you ok, are you happy
But most of all
Have you forgotten me
Have the memories slipped away
Like a dream vanishes in the night
Am I no longer the muse
I once was
Have I lost my dream boy forever

Poem of the Day

poet Edmund Spenser

My love is like to ice, and I to fire:
How comes it then that this her cold so great
Is not dissolved through my so hot desire,
But harder grows the more I her entreat?
