this world has so much black
I find it hard to see
I can barely see the glowing light
you leave inside of me
sometimes I just want to give up
roll over into my grave
but then I hear your words, so soft
please know its me they save

you may say your not perfect
but baby that’s not true
your more beautiful than you will ever know
and that’s why I care so much about you
your smile could launch a 1,000 ships
into the sea of your perfect eyes
and you know that I would sink myself to hell
just to see you raised on high

so tonight as you sleep and dream sweet dreams
believe that tonight the perfect angel sleeps
on her majestic bed of dreams
for you are the angel of my dreams
and the queen of my heart
and tonight as you sleep and dream sweet dreams
hold only this in your heart
