Dream World Poem by Stevens Cadet

Dream World

I often dream of a land
Where I can observe the pastels of Leonardo

Fall back in love with Mona
Serving me knowledge like Lisa

Give me a pen so I can decipher Da Vinci's Code

Allow me to live in the wild with the beast
As I flip through & read the pages of Socrates

A wrist stole the true meaning of time
Can I escape from the Republic?

Too see more than reflections in the cave

I just want to be free of mind
