Dreamer Boy Poem by Victoria Horn

Dreamer Boy

Rating: 5.0

A dreamer boy
Wished for a watering can
But instead recieved
A pot and pan
Puzzled he asked
What to do with these
Whatever you like,
Whatever you please
You silly kid
Why ask for a watering can
He replied
To be the gardening man
Bows and arrows
Don't amuse me
I'd rather have
A growing apple tree.
