Dreaming Skarlet Poem by Lindsay Fleenor

Dreaming Skarlet

Rip my heart out,
And destroy it on the floor.
Look at me and say: 'I don't want you any more.'
I start to shout:

'Come back to me!
This cannot be!
This isn't true Reality! '
You don't come back to me.

Screaming, Screaming!
(Monsters in my head!)
Yelling, Yelling!
(Blood is everywhere!)
Crying, Crying!
(Can't feel anymore!)
Dreaming, Dreaming!
We're dreaming..... Skarlet!

If i could kiss you with my gaze.
You would die through the Skarlet haze.
But because of my craze,
I can't live through this lifelong daze.

Screaming, Screaming!
(Monsters in my head!)
Yelling, Yelling!
(Blood is everywhere!)
Crying, Crying!
(Can't feel anymore!)
Dreaming, Dreaming!
(I'm dying on the floor!)
Because we're dreaming, we're dreaming.... Skarlet.
