Dreams The Braking Point Poem by Noorie Ali

Dreams The Braking Point

Rating: 3.5

My broken dreams…call them…give them a shout
My loneliness the atmosphere, its sorrows... give each breath a chance, stand besides the tortured spirit.

I was walking like a zombie in my sleep; my dreams are to blame for the braking of my heart.
In these thoughts my life was drowning in, Let them thought’s be forgotten for they are what cause this pain.

I close my eyes; I hope it all fades away.
I see a vision of a beautiful illumine star,
Wishing my sorrows would soon wash away.

I’m a soul that’s confused, iv a have a heart that is bruised,
Listening to people backstabbing, feeling like my life is a relapse
It’s descending, following like a river melting before my eyes.
Much sooner that I’ve realized

I’m gushing, my vocals away hoping ill see a way out!
Wishing, there was a way out!
I’m trapped in a shell, “mystified”.
Hoping it was all a dream…
I stand beside the tortured spirit.

My tears are flowing like a river from the eye that was seeing a picture.
I’ve been taking this pain…all along

My broken dreams…call them…give them a shout
My loneliness this atmosphere, its sorrows... give each breath a chance, stand besides the tortured spirit.

Call them…Call them …Call them. Keep calling them

I just wish those dreams would soon disappear.
