Droplets Of Rain Poem by Laquory Jones

Droplets Of Rain

Verse: 1
Two internal flames begins
To separate feelings of love
Slowly begins to dissipate
Emotions becoming fierce as
The world we know it
Obliterates not one backing
down or reciprocates so two
Souls are lost through time

Verse: 2
As days begins to evaporate
I can see the tears beginning
To flood through your face
Your droplets of rain
Your voice is the thunder and
Your eyes its lightning grace

Chorus:
But there's something more about
You that I think you should know it's
That when you cry your droplets
Of rain I can feel your roaring thunder
Rumbling in disgrace
Your anger becomes like a hurricane
With embers bursting within your veins
Your sleek hair ruffling out of place
Your eyes become like the sun as
They begin consuming me
Moonlight striking upon your essence
As if I just caught a glimpse of heaven

Verse 3:
Just know that we belong together
I'm your ice-storm and you're
My molting lava
Yeah polar opposites but haven't
We been through worsening weather
People telling us we won't make it
But I don't see them fairing any better
Those kind of ties that we can sever
Perhaps they find it clever though
The real reason I wrote this letter is

Chorus:
That when you cry your droplets
Of rain I can feel your roaring thunder
Rumbling in disgrace
Your anger becomes like a hurricane
With embers bursting within your veins
Your sleek hair ruffling out of place
Your eyes become like the sun as
They begin consuming me
Moonlight striking upon your essence
As if I just caught a glimpse of heaven
