In the drops of the rain I breathe
your smell, that of heavenly scent
Right above me lies the earth
for my sky cannot anymore be felt
Wondering what does this life worth
riches, wisdom or that love to you I sent
After all, I'm here waiting for the birth
sending thousands of roses, for you I kept

By the drops of the rain I see
my hopes that wash out my pain
Hence I know that winter cannot be
but some summer was lost in vain
By you shall it return to heaven for me
and then the sun for sure will shine again
My soul for sure then shall be free
without the tears, without the pain

With the drops of the rain walk I
and think of my sunrise that is coming
It is the moment when I see you high
shining my mind with peaceful loving
That is when to you I shall have to cry
where have you been that time O darling
It is under the drops of the rain shall I
stay and wait for you O rose of morning
