Drown In My Own Tears Poem by Dorsey Baker

Drown In My Own Tears

I don't want to
drink until I'm drunk
I don't want to think
until I'm thought out
I don't want to feel
no more fear and doubt

I don't want to laugh
myself to death
or hear
no weeping willow cry
I already know
the meaning of heartbreak
I already know
the meaning of loneliness
I already know where
love birds come from
and where they fly to
and if you want to
you can watch me
while I drown myself
in my own tears!
