Drug-Altered, Disturbed Minds Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Drug-Altered, Disturbed Minds

Disturbed minds cannot think with logic,
They cannot see reality and analyze.
Disturbed minds are wrong they are sick
They cannot reason out or memorize.

Drug-altered minds are in the same base,
The drugs affect their brain chemically.
Their normal thinking process in this case
Alters the brain it seems to work magically.

Such minds have altered states of experience
Flawed and erroneous, with no firm basis.
Disturbed minds are damaged goods in a sense,
That to use them as tests is a sure miss.

So one bloke here on Poemhunter keeps the rap
That all who experience Truth are of like mind.
I think it's he who took the drugs and swallowed them all up
He writes like one so altered, such a disturbed mind.
