We are mortals
as human beings
you and I shall expire
at the time of inevitable call
But what if you and I knew
as our doctors warn us anew
that we shall go within a month
to leave this existence we most love
And what about the agony
that each our family shall feel
about our eventual death at hand
could it not be more painful than our fate?
Ah, nobody really knows
till the time of passing comes
for you and I shall accept the fact
that everyone else is dying at due time
